Renovation

This extensive renovation of an early Roland Terry house was an opportunity to accentuate and celebrate the dramatic public spaces of the original design, combined with the challenge of unfurling the maze of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom spaces in a way that felt true to the original architecture. Walls were removed and spaces were reorganized to bring light and connection through the house. A simple palette of natural materials merged new with old maintaining the original soul of the house and connection to the landscape and views beyond.
